Late afternoon for a change, at home.
I’m not used to these ultra early mornings, where I rustle up and get Z to her 0615 pilates. Always a bit of a shock, and definitely dodgy for other road users (happily there’s no one with any sense on the road).
In line with the weirdness, a hard message straight off, with a friend having dire troubles with her eldest daughter, fighting bulimia and alcoholism to a horrible degree. I bought Zura in, who fought a similar battle years ago. She’ll look into directly talking to the girl in the days ahead.
Talked to Bruce for a while. I sent a message to him yesterday outlining my huge fear of seeing a rising far right in this country. The signs are bad, but in line with [[Sally Journal/content/days/2026-06-15-day-157/index|Nick Cave]], we both chose hopefulness, despite what’s around us.
I then fought tech for a while (I’m converting to mac from pc) and then headed out to the gym. Back home to receive the solar panels for tomorrow’s installation. Then out for dinner and birdseed!
I’m finally back, but struggling to get working again. Still, I should manage an hour or so.
