George. Zee is writing her journal.
We’ve been working to try and remember names lately. Zee has suffered from that which needs a new noun. Saying hi to someone for years, but after so long it’s too late to actually ask their name without embarrassment. We’ve got half the workers here named (and written down) but we’ve still got to do “short with motorised skateboard” and “Elle Fanning lookalike”. I’m useful here as the new boy who can still ask without embarrassment.
Sleeping better lately, and I can feel it by curiosity levels, and more odd connections being made. It may also be the book. It has the dreadful tile of “Meaning of Life”, which is accurate, but such a cliche. At least he does start by acknowledging Monty Python (and Thomas Carlyle!). It’s been a great book though. It’s just finishing up with suffering. It’s not only our inevitability, it’s also absolutely necessary for us to mature and grow up. Working hard to eliminate it is a mistake. All good stuff, but very scary too, for one who is currently not suffering! It’s very hard not to look for it coming along at me….
